As all the Hawks know, my daughter Darcy does some timekeeping for us. Darcy got to know Ed through their joint "job" doing the clock and score during our games. Although Darcy is a teenager and Ed was a little older than that, Darcy really enjoyed his company. It became the norm for Darcy to ask "will Ed be there" anytime she was doing a game. He was a fabulous listener, and Darcy loved to keep him posted on her life. He had a gentle affect, which enabled him to teach her the ropes and share his experience with her. All the Hawks, including Darcy will miss him. and we are both grateful to have known him. Love, Brigid
